Shruti Seth who began as a model in the glam world, moved to VJ-ing on a music channel before starting acting.
She has worked in many television serials like Comedy Circus, Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr, Des Mein Nikhlla Hoga Chand and Shararat.
Her first movie was the offbeat Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II in 2003. She has played supporting characters in movies like Fanaa (2006) where she played Kajol’s friend Fatty. In Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007), she played the role of Sasha.
In the Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire (2008), she played a call center trainer. Her next release is a comedy Khalbali (2009).
